We wrote these terms ourselves, and no lawyer outside our team has reviewed them yet.
Who can use this
You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of the child you are recording. One account per adult. Do not share your account.
What this app is
Every Age suggests one small morning practice step at a time and helps you notice whether it is helping. The content is general parenting practice material written for typical development in the 4 to 10 age range.
What this app is not
It is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, or educational advice. It does not assess, screen for, or identify any condition. It is not a substitute for a pediatrician, psychologist, therapist, or teacher.
If you have concerns about your child's development, speak with a qualified professional. If your child is in danger or crisis, contact your local emergency services.
Some everyday routines sit closer to health than others. Where a step touches one, the app says plainly that it is a routine rather than guidance, and points you at your doctor. Take that at face value: it means we are not the right source for that question.
You are the adult in the room. You decide what to try, and you are responsible for your child's safety while you try it.
Your content
What you record stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to operate the app for you, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
Do not enter anything you do not want stored, and do not enter another person's information without their permission.
Steps you write yourself
You can add your own step in your own words. That step is yours, not ours. We do not write it, review it, or check it against anything, and the app says so on the screen where it appears. What we do is measure it the same way we measure the steps we wrote.
You are responsible for what you ask your child to do. Nothing you write becomes our guidance, our recommendation, or our advice by virtue of being typed into this app.
Subscriptions
The first completed week of practice is free. Continuing past it requires a subscription.
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple Account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Manage or cancel a subscription in Settings on your device, or at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the App Store.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no reverse engineering, no automated scraping, no attempts to break into other people's accounts, no reselling the content.
Ending your access
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend an account that violates these terms.
No warranty, and limits on liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we will show you the new version in the app before you continue.
